While almost all countries agree that commercial practices should be fair, the approach to ensure this fairness can be quite different. At the European level no real harmonization has yet been reached. However, the enlargement of the EU could help to overcome the existing difficulties. This book discusses the particular approach to unfair competition law in the 10 new Member States and the possible impact on the future development of European unfair competition law. It presents new insight in the importance of unfair competition law, especially in countries with a developing market economy.
